After the successful first edition of Benjamin Verbič's Football Camp in 2024, we are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 Football Camp, which will take place at the idyllic location of the sports park in Kozje!

The camp is intended for children, both girls and boys, born between 2010 and 2017, who will be developing their football skills on natural grass fields, in a safe and relaxed natural environment. The children will refine their skills under the professional guidance of coaches specialized in developmental football, with extensive coaching and playing experience at the highest level.

Professional part of the program:

The football training sessions will take place twice a day, following the latest guidelines in developmental football, based on years of research and education both locally and abroad.

The morning sessions will focus on technical elements, ball control, coordination, motor skills, and general movement abilities, which are essential for quality football play.

The afternoon sessions will be dedicated to learning through game-based forms, which have proven to be the most effective in developing football skills, as they simulate real game situations. Each drill will have its own organization, requirements, and goals, allowing the children to engage in continuous interaction with teammates and make decisions and execute them in real situations.

In five days and nine training sessions, we will introduce the following football objectives to the young players:

• Cooperation of two and three players (one-two passes, running behind a teammate, diagonal runs, return passes, etc.)
• Finishing on goal (outside and inside of the foot, instep, inside of the front foot, etc.)
• Maintaining possession of the ball (direct possession with space acquisition, possession with a finish, reaction after losing the ball, etc.)
• 1v1 play (feints, outside of the foot, stepovers, turns, 1v1 with the back to the opposing goal, etc.)

• Socializing without electronic devices and making new friends
• Board games to encourage socialization
• Workshops on healthy lifestyle through movement, sports, and healthy eating
• Conversations with professional football players and sharing their professional experiences
• Paintball
• Walks in unspoiled nature and spending time outdoors

The price includes:

• 5-day stay at the Kozjanski Dvor complex
• 4 overnight stays
• Full board, including lunch on the departure day
• Football field rental, twice daily (90 – 120 minutes per training session)
• 8 guided training sessions on natural grass and a match
• Trainers with licenses and extensive coaching and playing experience
